Vienna

Our tours in Vienna included a guided walking tour in the morning, followed by a tour of Cici's extraordinary summer castle in the afternoon, and then a Mozart and Strauss chamber concert in the evening. And we had a multi-course meal on the ship between each tour. A full and wonderful day!

Unfortunately, the Lipizzaner Spanish Riding School was on holiday, and we were not able to see them perform or tour their arena, but we were able to see the outside of the riding school.

Notice the caution sign warning of passing horses!

Each shop was identified by these unique and ornate signs.

While we toured a church in the square, Stan and Shirley were conducting clinical research on apple strudel, in search of Austria's best. We have tested at least 12 different strudels, and the jury is still out.

Cici's summer palace.

Shirley, still looking beautiful at the end of the day!
