Budapest to Brateslava

After three wonderful days in Budapest,  it was time to get settled on our Viking ship, the Legend and begin our Danube cruise. We made one trip across the famous Chain Bridge and the ship launched after sunset. In the morning we docked in Bratislava and toured this charming city in the morning.

In the morning we traveled through our first of 11 locks along the Danube.

Our tour guide shared the interesting history of Bratislava and we toured a government building and castle, which provided a wonderful view of the city.

We walked through the historic city center, with many shops, cafe's, and interesting public art.
